I recently installed my new HD-9. After a lot of research, I chose Bendpak because I wanted a solid, reliable lift that would last a long time. It was a great option to convert our two car garage to a three car garage.The lift arrived in about a week and a half and I installed it myself with the help of two furniture dollies and a car jack. I thought the instructions were well written and easy to understand and follow. I took my time and completed the installation, including bolting it down and cleanup, in about 10 hours.I highly recommend this lift and brand over the various other brands that are around the same price point. I didn't want a "hobby" lift that warns you of operating it to frequently. That turned me away right when I read it. I am very happy with my purchase and have already recommended Bendpack to a friend that is in the market for a garage lift.

I have owned a less expensive lift in the past and I can say first hand that the Bendpak HD-9 is much better quality. Despite the installation instructions saying you will need help, I was able to assemble it myself using just some basic equipment that I own. I love the HD-9 for its versatility. Most of the time it is used to stack one vehicle over the other but I also do a ton of maintenance work under it. Be sure to purchase a package deal with the maintenance jack tray, drip trays, and if you have a low vehicle, the extended ramps might be handy so you don't scrape.
