$29.00
Color: Beige

ArmorPoxy Universal Tints are pint-sized pigment packs that color a clear floor coating to whatever shade the job calls for. Pour it in, mix it thoroughly, roll it out.

How Far One Pint Goes

  • Polyaspartic: one pint tints 2 gallons
  • Epoxy: one pint tints 1.5 gallons

Sold as pints only. Size your order to the coating volume, not the floor area.

Buy One Per Set, and One Spare

Work out how many gallons you're coating, divide by the numbers above, and round up. Then add one. Running short of pigment partway through a floor isn't like running short of paint — you can't mix a matching batch afterward, and the color break lands wherever you happened to stop. A spare pint is the cheapest insurance on the whole project.

Tint the Base Coat, Not the Clear

Color belongs in the base coat. The topcoat stays clear — that's what gives the floor its depth and what protects the pigment and flake underneath it. Tinting the clear is the most common way this product gets misused, and it flattens the finish you paid for. If you want a solid color with no flake, tint the base and run clear over the top of it.

Mixing

Add the entire pint to the resin or Part A side and mix 3–5 minutes with a spiral or paddle mixer at slow to medium speed. Scrape the sides and the bottom of the container as you go — under-mixed pigment is the usual reason a floor comes out streaked or shifts shade between batches. When the streaks disappear, keep going another minute; pigment hides in the corners of the pail. If you're running more than one kit, combine and mix all of your Part A together before you start so the color holds consistent across the whole slab.

Do this before you're on the clock. Once Part A and Part B meet you have roughly 15 to 20 minutes of working time with polyaspartic, and that is not the moment to discover your pigment isn't fully dispersed.

What It Works With

Formulated for ArmorPoxy's tintable coatings and compatible with most other manufacturers' tintable epoxy and polyaspartic systems. Not intended for coatings that already ship pre-pigmented.

Color Range

Eight colors: three neutrals (Beige, Khaki Tan, Desert Tan), three grays (Light, Medium, Dark), and two high-visibility safety shades for striping, walkways, and hazard marking.

One expectation worth setting — pigment over concrete never matches a swatch exactly. The slab underneath influences the final shade, and so does how many coats you run and how thick you lay them. If the exact color matters, because you're matching an existing floor or working to a spec, mix a small batch and test it on a scrap of concrete or an out-of-the-way corner before you commit the whole floor.

Why Buy From Us?
Open Door Garage

We don't just
sell gear.
We earn trust.

Your garage is an extension of who you are. We take that seriously — which means we hold ourselves to a standard that goes well beyond the transaction.

Our core focus.

Everything we do comes back to one idea: garage projects are complicated, and they shouldn't have to be.

Our purpose

Clarity. Trust. Simplicity.

We bring clarity, trust, and simplicity to complex garage projects — improving outcomes for everyone involved, from the first question to the final installation.

Our niche

Start to finish.

We guide customers through complete garage transformations — simplifying product selection, logistics, and installation so you never feel like you're figuring it out alone.

Our five
core values.

These aren't posters on a wall. They're how we make decisions — especially the hard ones.

01

Do the right thing,
even when it's hard

We act with integrity, take responsibility, and make decisions we can stand behind — especially when it costs us.

What this means for you: if something goes wrong with your order, we own it and fix it. No deflecting, no fine print.
02

Think long-term,
not transactional

We make decisions that strengthen the entire experience — for the customer, partners, and the business — not just quick wins.

What this means for you: we'd rather lose a sale than steer you toward a product that isn't right for your space.
03

Solve problems
before they exist

We anticipate issues, communicate early, and take action to prevent friction for customers, partners, and our team.

What this means for you: we track your shipment so you don't have to, and we reach out if anything looks off before you even notice.
04

Take ownership
and figure it out

We don't wait to be told what to do. We take initiative, embrace feedback, and improve quickly.

What this means for you: when you reach out with a question, someone owns finding the answer — it doesn't bounce around.
05

Deliver an experience
worth talking about

We go beyond the transaction. We create outcomes customers feel good about and want to share.

What this means for you: our goal is that you tell a friend. Not because we asked — because the experience was genuinely that good.

See these values
in action.

Talk to a garage pro — no sales pressure, just honest advice to help you build the space you actually want.
