Need a lighter, low profile car capable ramp kit for your HD7 or HD9 Series 4 Post Lift? The BendPak 36 inch Aluminum ramps are your solution!
Aluminum Approach Ramps are a necessary, lightweight solution when lifting low-profile cars on your four post lift. These extended Aluminum Ramps give your beautifully slammed car the room it needs to glide safely onto the lift without risk of damage, and their super lightweight construction makes them easy to move around.
Made of aluminum, these 16-lb. ramps are significantly lighter than the standard four post lift version, allowing you to maneuver them into place with ease. With 48” of length, Aluminum Ramps are significantly longer than standard four-post lift approach ramps, and feature an attractive diamond plate finish that provides a non-slip surface. With an 18” width and heavy-duty construction, the Aluminum Ramps can support some of the biggest wheels and vehicles in the business.
Designed for the BendPak HD-7 and HD-9 series, this complete kit features two low-profile Aluminum Ramps, quick-mount brackets and all the necessary hardware to make ramp removal and installation a cinch. Aluminum Ramps give you the length and lightweight flexibility you need to get your car safely onto your lift.
Note: These ramps are NOT compatible with the HD-SW or HD-SWX Lifts.
Customer testimonial:
“I received my set of BendPak aluminum approach ramps this week, and for me they are a significant improvement over the steel ramps. I had two issues I was looking to resolve: lighter weight, as I want to keep the ramps off the four-post liftwhenever possible, and longer approach for low cars.
The aluminum ramps are much lighter (16 lbs. each vs. 42 lbs. each) which makes moving them around a non-issue. They attach to the lift via a supplemental bracket, which creates a vertical slot and eliminates the axle pin – much easier to remove and install. They still fit within the runways for storage.
My other issue is my low car was coming within a fraction of an inch of rubbing the bumper lip on the cross bar, so I wanted some longer ramps. The aluminum ramps are the same overall length as the steel ones but the ramp surface is 6" longer, so they don't overlap the lift runways. This made all the difference for me and I've now got almost 2" of clearance to the bumper.”
Thanks to “snowphun” on the Garage Journal forum for the kind remarks. We could not ask for a more glowing endorsement of our four-post car lift ramps.

Open Door Garage
We don't just sell gear. We earn trust.
Your garage is an extension of who you are. We take that seriously — which means we hold ourselves to a standard that goes well beyond the transaction.
Why we exist
Our core focus.
Everything we do comes back to one idea: garage projects are complicated, and they shouldn't have to be.
Our purpose
Clarity. Trust. Simplicity.
We bring clarity, trust, and simplicity to complex garage projects — improving outcomes for everyone involved, from the first question to the final installation.
Our niche
Start to finish.
We guide customers through complete garage transformations — simplifying product selection, logistics, and installation so you never feel like you're figuring it out alone.
How we operate
Our five core values.
These aren't posters on a wall. They're how we make decisions — especially the hard ones.
01
Do the right thing, even when it's hard
We act with integrity, take responsibility, and make decisions we can stand behind — especially when it costs us.
What this means for you: if something goes wrong with your order, we own it and fix it. No deflecting, no fine print.
02
Think long-term, not transactional
We make decisions that strengthen the entire experience — for the customer, partners, and the business — not just quick wins.
What this means for you: we'd rather lose a sale than steer you toward a product that isn't right for your space.
03
Solve problems before they exist
We anticipate issues, communicate early, and take action to prevent friction for customers, partners, and our team.
What this means for you: we track your shipment so you don't have to, and we reach out if anything looks off before you even notice.
04
Take ownership and figure it out
We don't wait to be told what to do. We take initiative, embrace feedback, and improve quickly.
What this means for you: when you reach out with a question, someone owns finding the answer — it doesn't bounce around.
05
Deliver an experience worth talking about
We go beyond the transaction. We create outcomes customers feel good about and want to share.
What this means for you: our goal is that you tell a friend. Not because we asked — because the experience was genuinely that good.
See these values in action.
Talk to a garage pro — no sales pressure, just honest advice to help you build the space you actually want.
Sadly these should be standard with the initial purchase of the lift.
Honestly can’t fathom why the aluminum ramps DON’T come standard with the purchase. Horrible dis-favor to your customer. Product is great and super satisfied just not with the corporate decision to ship with the crazy heavy steel ramps.
