BendPak Car Lift Shipping Expectations

With our BendPak brand products, however, there are a few speed bumps in the road to making that a no questions asked policy. But don't worry! We have a few ways to get around them.

Like the majority of the products available on our site, our BendPak 4 Post Car Lifts do still ship for free to the lower 48, saving you $300-$1,200.

Expectations:

1) If you don't ship to a commercial address the LTL company will charge us a $75 Residential Access Fee

Due to the difficulty of navigating big trucks in neighborhoods the LTL companies will automatically charge a $75 fee to deliver directly to a residential address. Don't worry, we will cover this cost for you if it is the only option. However, if there are options that will avoid this expense, we will explore them with you.

2) You must have the means to offload the freight at your property, such as a forklift.

Your car lift shipment contains bundles of long and heavy steel and typically ships on a flatbed or in a standard semi truck trailer. This requires a forklift and some space to unload.

Your delivery driver is not responsibile for unloading. It is your responsibilty to ensure that there is a means to offload your new lift from the truck when it arrives. Failure to do so can result in third party fees charged by the freight company for delays, re-deliveries, and other inconveniences. These fees, unlike the one mentioned above, will not be covered in your purchase with us and you will be responsible for paying them in full.

How to avoid these charges:

2) When hiring a local certified installer, which is something we will source for you at no extra cost, your lift can ship directly to their facility, avoiding the $75 residential fee, and allowing them to use their forklift to unload.

3) You can also have your lift shipped to a local Freight Dock near you, where they will utilize their forklifts to unload your lift. You can then pick it up and take it from there. This service varies greatly from dock to dock. Call us at 888-919-2034 and we will help you price and coordinate this.

4) Finally, forklift service may be purchased ahead of time for an additional $450. If you select this option we will be in contact with you in order to coordinate the best way to accomplish this in your area.
